Harpenden hotel rooms a the Oakman Inns & Restaurants

"Haven’t stayed in a Marriot for a few years . In this hotel the rooms have been refurbished in a more modern style. Dark but really cosy. The staff were really helpful and friendly. They let me check out at 2pm at no extra cost. Nice pool for an evening swim. Very warm pool. Breakfast was really well organised and really good selection of hot and continental. Really nice experience. Will definitely stay again. "

"Great location, offering exceptional value for the price. The room is clean and well-maintained, featuring a comfortable bed; however, an improvement in shower pressure would be beneficial. It is a £15 Uber ride to Luton Airport and just a five-minute walk to the Luton train station."

"Had a lovely stay and staff were fabulous. Room was really nice and clean. Only things to fault in the room is the net curtain had a hole in it and the food/drinks on the bar are to easily reachable and tempting for children to pick up where you then get charged due to the sensor. Breakfast was great, very clean, helpful staff, lots of options and many drinks to choose from. Oh and also, its not a complaint as staff are only human and do forget things but i wasn't told at check in the swimming situation with children not allowed in after 7pm. We went down at 7pm but staff were great and extented it to 7:30 so we got half an hour even tho my daughter wasn't best happy. Staff also gave us a complimentary metal water bottle each as a sorry which was lovely even after they extented the time in the pool. We did really enjoy our stay Our stay was quiet and pleasant and we plan to return. "
