"Absolutely beautiful resort but very little English spoken. Restaurant service was exceptionally poor and food was of very basic quality. The scallops were overcooked to the point they couldn’t even be scraped off the shell and that was after a 1.25hour wait for our meals with only 10 people in the restaurant. The wait at the beach bar was at least 30min each time as the staff were more concerned with their phones and talking to each other rather than serving customers. "

"Five star hotel / resort with great rooms, view and buffet breakfast. Good indoor and outdoor pool and gym which closes at 7pm unfortunately. Sky Bar and Bamboo restaurant also closed. As the property is located on top of a steep hill, transport is required to local shops and restaurants."

"We loved the Watson. Beautiful room, excellent central location and the view from the rooftop pool was spectacular. Service was the best part of this stay, Sao Bang at the front desk was especially kind and helpful! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Halong Bay Area!"
