"The view from our room was incredible but breakfast was below average. Floor drain in room made gurgling sounds all the time. Could hear some activity in other rooms. Check in was crazy with many cars trying to drop off at the same time. Valet parking was $125 can per day and not included. Very convenient to falls!! "

"Guess it is off season, but we felt that we got excellent value for down town, and very conveniently located for where we wanted to go. Clean, well maintained, well located, good parking and great staff. There is absolutely nothing bad to say about our experience at all. Recommended."

"It’s in the prime location and it is safe! Walkable to great restaurants, to Chicago Riverwalk, to the Millenium Park and to the Michigan Avenue’s Shopping. This hotel is also clean, the breakfast buffet is great and the stuff’s are nice!!!"

"It's an excellent hotel with fantastic amenities, a great location, and great value! The rooms are small, making them suitable for solo and intimate travel. This is not for a family. The shower door was not shutting fully, causing a bit of flooding. But other than that, it's a fantastic hotel. Breakfast is delicious, and the design is on point! It's very beautiful! I'd recommend to a friend and will stay again."

"Steve, the doorman was amazing. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. He made sure to offer assistance even when we didn't request any. The room was clean and comfortable. If you are looking for the character and a little history of Chicago you will find it at the Congress Plaza Hotel. "

"Arrived at hotel found a parking garage a few blocks away. Walked in there is a restaurant on ground floor and you take elevator or stairs up one level for lobby of hotel to check in. Instead of standing counter the staff sit at low desk. After checkin we went to room. It was nice with a nice view. As others have mentioned it is a bit odd in this country to have a glass wall to bathroom with a curtain that when open gives a view of the shower and bathroom to the main room.
