"We got off to a rough start because upon check in our room had not been cleaned and had to move. Next room the TV wouldn't work so after the front desk worked on it they found there was an issue with the whole section. This resulted in move number 3. I ended back up where I was originally supposed to be. The staff was great and tried to make sure I was going to have what I needed. Despite everything this is one of our favorites and we will be staying there again soon."

"A bear visited our truck two nights in a row! They are serious when they say don’t leave anything in your vehicles. We left an unopened bag of birdseed in the bed. One less softcover truck bed cover and bag of birdseed later! Totally our fault! We would go back in a heartbeat (w/o birdseed!)! Wonderful indoor pool area for kids! Great dining and bar options. Loved our 5-day stay!"

"I stayed at the Read House off and on for more than 2 weeks. Each check-in was a pleasure. I have been in the travel industry for many years and know a gem when I see it. This historical hotel has the most accommodating caring staff…which is rare to find these days. Rooms are beautiful and location in downtown Chattanooga is perfect.
