"We really enjoyed our stay at The Ryder between Christmas and New Year. Room was lovely with two queen beds and the beds were super comfortable. Coffee shop was super convenient onsite and we had a lovely breakfast in the restaurant. Only negative was the lack of coffee machine and refrigerator in the room. "

"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"Excellent place to stay! Manager and staff were super friendly and room was clean and comfortable. Very close to shopping and restaurants so was able to walk to most places. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend!"

"It was good. Was able to stay the one night and then hotel is willing to work with me on hospital schedule and move the other day, but only if you all at hotels.com will call them and agree to move the night next. "

"This was our 1st time staying. When we arrived to the room there was 1 wash cloth and 2 hand towels. No Bath towels for showers? No blow dryer, No Microwave , No working phone, No chairs for balcony. We paid $250.00 a night plus fees. I’m almost 63 years old and have NEVER stayed at a place without the necessities? For the price that We paid .. I had no idea that I had to bring my own towels and blow dryer… I had been so excited to stay at your property “ The Tides” but was so disappointed to...

Nice property nice people.

"Check in was easy. We came with a group of other families. They were able to accommodate us and put us all next to each other. The view was amazing and there was plenty of space for me and my two kiddos. Everyone got their own bed which is rare. Our room had a faint smell of cigarettes that the others didn’t have but since it was just n over night stay it seemed like more of a hassle to have it changed. Myrtle beach was a ghost town which we loved. We didn’t have to be around a bunch of people. Overall it was a nice property for being in the older side near the ocean. "
