"I was Leary about staying here after reading so many negative reviews. Happily our stay was very good. The night desk clerk was very nice and handled everything quickly. The room was clean the bed was very comfortable. Other than the train whistle the area was quite. I was very happy with my room and loved the price I was charged. My only complaint was the breakfast. There was hardly anything to eat. "

"I have had to travel from NC to Columbia now for the past 3 mos. In SC 4 days Nc 3 days. Have stayed at several different hotels. This one is a little further out from my destination, but tried it because of a deal on Hotels.com, is now my go to even with the added distance. More than worth the added drive time."

"We had a late check-in around 10pm. The lobby was closed but the had a window for check-in. Although i understand the safety aspect im not digging having to stand outside in the cold during that process. Room was nice and comfortable but whoever had the bright idea to put the mattress on a sheet metal base that crinkled and popped every time you rolled over obviously didn’t sleep on it for a night."

"This was my second time staying at this location and was very clean and orderly. The check in process was easy and front desk attendant was nice. The water pressure in the room was perfect, the bed was very soft. TV worked great and had plenty of channels between game sessions. I was in town for the SEC WBB Tourney and this location was very close roughly 1.7 miles away. There are plenty of restaurants around, you have to look them up. My only complaint is that the outlets next to the beds...

"Overall, the price drove us in. We were a little skeptical at first, due to the price and doors leading directly to the outside. However, very clean and well kept. Very nice people. "
