"I booked this break for my wife's big birthday. We stayed for 2 nights on B&B basis. The hotel looked very festive when we arrived as all the Christmas trees had been put up and decorated. The reception area looked lovely. We had a quick, smooth check-in and were advised of opening times for dining and the spa facility. "Lovely receptionist on check in. Some young, not particularly proffesional staff at dinner. Long wait for service. Poor bar boy Danny. One girl from restaurant not always kind to him. Guests in bar all commenting " poor boy " it was very busy and only him serving bar and restaurant. Waitress stated too loud, unfortunately all in the bar heard. "You need to prioritise the restaurant not the people in bar' not good to hear when you are in a full bar lounge. Certainly under staffed. Two guests left...
