"We stayed as a family the room was a good size and the staff very friendly - the hotel got very busy on a Saturday morning with various kids clubs happening. There was a lot of scaffolding around when we were there"

"Lovely stay at Ramside. First time we have been here and we will be back. Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Room was nice, only issue was that it smelt a bit damp when we walked in but opened patio doors and aired it and was ok afterwards. Lovely clean rooms. Beds not the most comfortable. Pillows were lumpy and a double/king size bed would be better than 2 beds put together, kept falling down the middle. Next time may look to upgrade to a premier room. "Great location for us visiting family, clean and comfortable if a little dated. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast!"

"Overall good 👍 excellent nights sleep. Not enamoured with the phone system we had difficulty contacting the hotel, too many hoops to jump through. Bathroom although looks good had a few issues eg, toilet flush coming off the wall and towel holder also loose, however the shower was great but not easy to adjust."
