"The hotel is a converted "shop house" (actually a mansion) filled with period furniture and artifacts. I had expected a "simple" breakfast but the choice was good. Room a bit spartan and there is no lift except to the most expensive rooms. So if you are not good on stairs or have heavy luggage, ask for a ground floor room. "

"The hotel is very well place for those wishing to explore the city. Little India and Chinatown are fairly close and that's a relief as there are no alcohol sales in the hotel for thirsty guests. This is not mentioned on any site to our knowledge. The rooms are fine, the wifi powerful, and the value is good, But when the place is full, a gloomy secondary dining room is used for breakfast that is huge and warehouse-like, with curtains firmly drawn to hide the dirty windows.
