"The Arlo chain is my go-to when I am staying in New York, and this was my best experience yet. Upon check in we received a voucher for free breakfast at Linden’s and it was probably the best meal we had during the trip. The rooms are small, but clean and well arranged. "We stayed for 2 nights for a concert at MSG. We definitely would stay again. It's only a short 15-30min drive into the city. Prompt easy Uber pick up and drop off. They also offer a shuttle for very cheap, but we didn't want to be restricted to the times they offered. I didn't get to eat the breakfast, but my husband got us some good coffees. "This hotel had everything we were needing. The breakfast was sufficient and bus/subway are convenient to the property. The rooms were a little small but they made up for the space with amenities such as slippers, canvas laundry bag, and luxury shampoo and soaps."

"I would have rated the property higher except that upon checking in we were told there were no available rooms left in the Residence Inn due to flooding issues and were downgraded to the Courtyard hotel next door. That was not what we reserved, paid for, and expected. No kitchenette, we had to unpack and pack up again when they moved us and not as nice of a hotel. Both properties also have only 2 elevators, which makes one wait as long as 10 minutes for an elevator to/from the upper floors....
