"We really enjoyed our stay. Have been to Isla many times, but this was our first time staying South Island. Our room was comfortable and roomy with many extras. Bonus was having a free breakfast at the affiliated KinHa Beach Club, where you can also spend the day enjoying the loungers and water toys. Several very good restaurants within a short walk. The whole area had a nice vibe and very chill. Highly recommend."

"It's a nice apartment with a fridge. Service was prompt but it has to be with the Hotel.com app only. There should be one microwave in the common area. And it's hard to communicate as the doorman and host do not speak English. I had to use the translator a lot. Otherwise it's a nice place. "

"I had an amazing experience at this resort! The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the transportation was super easy, making everything hassle-free. I loved that it was a little away from the nightlife—it gave the perfect balance of relaxation while still being just 10 minutes away from Coco Bongo. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall, I had a great time, and the resort truly gives you the full Mexico experience. Highly recommend!"

"Velas is a neat little condo, conveniently located close to downtown and right on the beach. The manager, Alba is friendly and helpful. She welcomed us to use the bikes and asked if we needed help with them in any way. We opted to not have housekeeping service during our stay, and Alba assured that we always had any house keeping conveniences such as fresh towels, soap, and toilet paper. She is an excellent host and we will stay there again. "

"Been traveling and bouncing from hotel to hotel Wanted to get a house as we are a big family of 7 so we can all be together . Frist off the pictures are outdated those are from when the place was just open the outside look horible and dangers.the house inside is not that bad just need a good actual deep clean and a couple touch ups and replacements especially the shower head and the windows springs as they are alot of mosquitos . Would not recommend unless your use to water bug roaches and...

"Property was very nice, would have liked a bar and cafe on site. They allow private events so we didn’t get to use the pool 1 day because there was a private event. We had some issues with the electric but I’m sure that will be fixed. "
