Romantic Hotels in Burnaby, Vancouver

"The main reason I am writing, I never do reviews, is respect shown by the man behind the reception / registration desk on Thursday January 24th morning was exceptional. I made an error in booking that embarrassed me and would have cost me over 200.00, Not much to the Hotel, but most significant to me. The man at reception desk appeared to be the most senior and he had obviously heard my story the night before. Other receptionist were very kind and gave me instructions to handle it on my own, however that had not helped. So I go up to the desk exhausted from my flights and a poor sleep sadly I expected to pay for my extra booking. What happened instead a thoughtful, kind, respectful man listened briefly, checked records and said, “I can help you with this” I almost cried. "The entire experience was wonderful. The front staff was incredible. When we checked in near midnight starving after a long travel day, they pointed us to a 24-hour Denny's and a 24-hour bakery. The hotel was waking distance to everything, and so quiet. Loved borrowing their bicycles. We ate most days at the attached cafe and restaurant. If I had to say a negative, it is that their parking lot is TIGHT! "
