The staff were friendly. The room was clean, but there’s signs of aging. The flush handle was broken and it wouldn’t stop flushing. Had to lift the cover up to stop it. The amenities were also sufficient for a quick trip. It has a gym, sauna, but the penthouse hot tub was closed. The location is ideal in terms of walking, transport, but there’s a lot of homeless outside along Granville. Overall, not bad for what you get for the price.

The staff are fantastic. It's exceptionally clean. There are limited restaurants in the area unless you enjoy fast food. The whole downtown area is not conducive to ' going for a walk. ' The hotel is impeccably maintained. However, with all construction going on downtown it's very difficult to get around. Two bridges are being worked on so it's difficult to meetings unless the are in the downtown core.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were nice. The staff were excellent, kind and always available. We had brought food back to our room but had no utensils. When I called the front desk to ask if they had any they brought them to the room in minutes! Great service and always with a genuine smile!!! If I had any complaints it would be the smell of marajuana in the hallway on our floor. It didn’t bother us so much as it may bother other guests.

The location was great. Front desk was very helpful. TV didn't work, called several times to have it looked at, no one came. Allot of restaurants near by and White Spot dosh stairs which was great.

I rarely leave bad reviews but I would give zero stars if I could. I feel that the hotel needs to take their feedback seriously. There were several issues with the drains in the sink and bathtub, we would have to turn off the shower head while still in the shower because the water would not drain fast enough. The sink did the same. There were several lights burnt out in the room and the bed and pillows were absolutely terrible. We stayed in town for a concert so at least we didn’t have to spend a lot of time in the room. I brought the drain situation to the the attention of the front desk staff at check out and they just replied with “oh ok sorry” in a nonchalant tone. I genuinely wish that I paid a bit more money to stay at a nicer hotel.
