"I stayed during Art Basel and I liked its location as it was so easy to get to the fair (7 minutes by train and the station is right outside the hotel but hardly any noise). Staff members were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. One thing to point out is that I didn't see a safe in the room. I am definitely coming back to stay here next year. Highly recommend."

"My second time staying at this property. Very spacious throughout and most rooms have a balcony/terrace. Room is traditional German finish with dated toilet fittings which are fully functional. Breakfast is continental with fresh brew coffee and freshly prepared eggs as additional options. Nice hillside location with views across the village and valley beyond. Staff very helpful as I was late arriving but key was waiting for me as I was a returning customer."

Be prepared to pack lightly because there are no elevators on the property, so you will have to carry your baggage up the steep stairs. Parking is extremely limited with only about 6 spaces for mid size vehicles. We did not dine in for dinner so my review will exclude evening meals. "

"Hotel Krone was just “ok”. I thought that the price was high for a ok hotel outside of tourist season (February). Hotel was nicely clean and comfortable. Arrived after 10 pm so had to make special arrangements to get key and find room but hotel was accommodating and helps to do this. "
