"We have excellent service at this hotel! We were late arriving for lunch and even though they were not serving any longer, they took care of us! The chef himself came out to talk to us and prepared us an amazing lunch! We would stay here again! "

"We stayed here for 4 nights. Wednesday through Sunday. There’s a bus stop right down the street but only until 7pm. If you come back to hotel after that the nearest bus stop is a 15-20 minute walk. And on Sundays the bus doesn’t run until 1pm- which was unfortunate because we needed to get to the airport- but staff arranged a taxi for us on Sunday morning which was fantastic. "Great choice in the area to explore both sides of the border. It is much cheaper to stay in Germany than Switzerland. A ten minute walk to the Rheinfelden train station on the Swiss side where you can access all of Switzerland. Breakfast is very good, room is up to date and clean. Staff is friendly and attentive. Elevator is tiny! Several grocery stores nearby. Would like it better if the room to had a fridge. I've stayed here twice and would happily do so again."

"The staff were ever so helpful. A lot of the staff spoke multiple languages, which helped a lot. (I am only English speaking) Catered for gluten free and offered oat and soya milk. Fully stocked fridge with beer, water and soft drinks. 5 mins walk from the highstreet. 20 min walk to vitra museum. Only rated 4/5 for condition because there was ongoing maintenance which I wasn’t aware of. However this didn’t disrupt our stay. The room was perfect and breakfast was great. "

"I stayed during Art Basel and I liked its location as it was so easy to get to the fair (7 minutes by train and the station is right outside the hotel but hardly any noise). Staff members were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. One thing to point out is that I didn't see a safe in the room. I am definitely coming back to stay here next year. Highly recommend."

"Hotel Krone was just “ok”. I thought that the price was high for a ok hotel outside of tourist season (February). Hotel was nicely clean and comfortable. Arrived after 10 pm so had to make special arrangements to get key and find room but hotel was accommodating and helps to do this. "
