The Empress is an amazing place to stay. We brought our giant fluffy dog with us and he was the star of the show. All staff always stopped to say hi and we’re so helpful with everything. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was a great experience. Staff was professional and attentive. Dining was great. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Just remember that this is an old hotel so expect the bathrooms to be on the small side. Otherwise an excellent stay.

Awesome hotel and truly magnificent architecture! The bathrooms in the room are a bit small but thats more to do with the age of the hotel. I had sudden work and needed a quiet place in the cafe and the staff were very helpful, getting me coffee before breakfast service had started. Very friendly!
