Glad I chose this property over others. Dislike Vancouver I'm n general. Dingy, run down, crowded, traffic, not much to do. This Westin is older and the building itself kind of ugly. The staff was Wonderful and friendly - the doorman, housekeeping, front desk all wonderful. We enjoyed the pool and fitness center, the bikes, and our room was very comfortable though nearby guests could have been more considerate. Disliked not having the option of 2 queen beds. 2 doubles are just too small, even for 2 kids to share. Would like the option of 1 bunkbed plus ,1 queen. Overall the property was the highlight of the trip. Recommended even though pricey. Location and amenities worth it.

We enjoyed the location with the ability to step outside and have multiple dining options available, walk or bike ride the path with free bikes. The hotel was clean and quiet with fast elevators. Indoor and outdoor pool was clean with reasonable hours. Our views from our room were breathtaking and definitely our favorite aspect of our stay. Room service good for staying in and was always faster than estimated time quoted.

We stayed for Thanksgiving weekend and had a lovely stay, but the Thanksgiving dinner while great value for money and really delicious was served in the restaurant bar area where they had extremely loud obnoxious music playing that they said they couldn’t turn down and it really spoiled it. It was very unsuitable for dining Like Honky Tonk guitar and ZZ Top and very loud whining Guitar riffs sounds not pleasurable at all while trying to chat over dinner ( parents are in 90’s) Then the breakfast on the Monday, being a holiday, we assumed would be a brunch style breakfast, but it was just the normal breakfast time and they close the kitchen at 10:30 and we didn’t get in till 10 so we felt rushed and uncomfortable, and that was due to the staff at the desk, waitress was delightful however and again the food was quite lovely. We had considered doing a Christmas stay, but we’re kind of thinking about it now because we’ve done Christmas before when they had the pods for Christmas dinner and that was lovely, but I don’t think I could sit through Christmas dinner in that environment in the restaurant unfortunately. Otherwise the hotel itself was very nice and very easy and pleasant

A solid clean comfortable four star hotel. Good value for the money. Beautiful views and near enough to all that Vancouver has to offer.
