"Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Superb location for anyone that loves golf, biking, hiking or indeed lazing by the pool. Felt like we had the place to ourselves even though the restaurant was relatively busy each evening. The staff are instinctively helpful at every turn and just a five day break felt like a fortnight. Well-being in a week right here! Chapeau to the HDC team and I’m sure I’ll be back with my golf clubs at some point to play Seve’s 18 👌"

"Great stay for a couple of days. The hotel building is not our normal style but the gardens were beautiful. Spa area was separate to the main gardens but we did not have much time for this, you do need to book ahead. Breakfast buffet was okay with a good selection but some more healthy - low fat options would have been good. The staff did try to find us healthier options but it would have been easier if they were more readily available ie skimmed milk. What made the hotel special was the staff,...

We celebrate our civil wedding anniversary here, but we can't celebrate in the restaurants because some of our friends have kids, so we end up having our dinner for 3 nights at the adjacent restaurant around El Mirador. Arrived as usual with that aroma from the entrance and was accommodated in the reception area. We were sent to our room but after a couple of minutes we were told we were sent to the wrong room, luckily we didn't change our clothes yet and...
