"The hotel itself was lovely and staff were great. The only downside we found was that our air con was very noisy almost sounded like running water and the blankets were extremely large and heavy to sleep in but other than that it was lovely."

"It’s an outside sort of a place a good destined from town and I mean a fair amount of walking the hotel have everything you need good restaurant and actually big place with massive car park and gym facilities "

"Not a lot of parking so get there early. Also no kids meals in the restaurant plus the road is so noisy. We were room 511. I didnt see any security and a group of young lads were topless. Lots of people infront of the entrance smoking. I was disappointed overall but the hotel is clean, in good order and the breakfast was good. "

"The hotel is on a side street off a large shopping street, but toward the end of that strip of stores. A couple blocks away things become more lively. We were glad for the quiet. The room was absolutely lovely with a spa-like bathroom, comfortable furniture, plentiful linens, tea and coffee makers. The food down at the bar was pricey and a little inconsistent, but generally good to terrific. We never had anything bad there. My one comment would be about the charming old staircase up to the...

"Nice hotel but dated. Could do with refreshing to bring Upto modern day standard. Bit more expensive than would expected and definitely didn't like the restaurant food standard wasn't good. Even under cooked chips and that's a something simple to cook."

"Good location right near the train station and bus terminal. It's quieter than I expected - I only actually hear trains if I was paying attention. Room was decent for price and perfect for 1 person. Hotel looks new and well kept."

"Unfortunately they are renovating the restaurant so limited menu in the bar. Also had to change lunch to another restaurant as they were drilling so too noisy. This will be finished in a few days though, and as I have stayed here before I know this is not normal and I will certainly continue to stay at the Priory and would recommend it. "

"Very convenient local MacDonalds, Subway, Kentucky, and a very good restaurant across the roundabout. Handy as the hotel food is limited in the evening. breakfast is very good and free."

"Excellent stay incredible Sunday Lunch and breakfast we also had complimentary use of spa I also had a treatment with Ffion which was wonderful thank you Unfortunately a few small negatives for the room a large amount of dust from the extractor fan which was like confetti when the fan was activated. Not sure when it was last cleaned The sink in the bathroom was too small and dangerous with a glass shelf directly above it. Poor view from the room which was overlooked from other rooms "
