"Staying as a couple, the check in was efficient. Parking was problematic - busy and some distance from reception. The room was clean but a bit tired in some areas, eg loose Bath panel, chipped grouting, chipped mirror. The bed was comfortable, the TV dated with limited channels. Breakfast was good and service staff efficient and pleasant. The ambiance of the bar area was poor as it seems to be part of the foyer."

"Hotel is lovely… but it lacked some of the 5 star touches we had in previous visits. Disappointed that the spa delayed its opening times without informing guesting which resulted in is having to cut our visit short "

"A really beautiful property with well designed and decorated rooms. Staff were always willing to help, food and cocktails in the bar were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the onsite spa too. Parking is limited on site so its a little bit of a logistical challenge with two kids to use the public car park but its reasonably priced and not far away."

"Lovely hotel. Booked 2 nights and enjoyed it so much we extended our stay by an extra night. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Superb buffet breakfast with some a la carte choices. Located about 2 miles out of Bath city centre so you will need a taxi or catch a bus from the nearby bus stop if you don't drive."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Lansdowne and wouldn't hesitate staying there again! From weeks before our trip giving us tips on how to spend New Years Eve, to our actual stay, they were always looking to help make our trip better! A very short walk to the center of Bourton-on-the-Water made it a perfect location as well! Thank you Lansdowne!"
