"I am travel often due to my job and get to experience all kinds and levels of hotels. This stay we were a family of 3, two adults one 8 year old. The facilities are very clean, very well kept and the employees hospitality it’s the best. The place it’s perfect for family with kids or just adults. We saw kids and just couples walking around and no one seemed out of place. The food options are great within the restaurants of the facility. You can also either take a 5 min cab ride to Playa del Carmen 5th Ave ( it’s their primary shopping district) or just walk about 5 minutes to a shopping area within the resorts complex. Either way we felt very safe walking around within the resort area (out of the hotel) or downtown shopping around and trying local food. The pools are great and within a convenient steps distance to a very beautiful beach. Lastly there are a few open bars along the hotel, but one thing I noticed is that we didn’t see anyone drunk or out of place. So basically yes there is free alcohol all day long, but the majority of the guest are in a family environment and not trying to get wasted. Overall will stay there again and recommend to anyone "

"I enjoyed my stay at The Fives Downtown Hotel & Residence. The staff was very friendly especially Ms. Christiana. She was my concierge for my stay. I must say she was very helpful and attentive. She went over and beyond to make sure my stay was very great. Definitely would stay again and recommend to others. "

Hilton Playa del Carmen, an All-Inclusive Adult Only Resort

"Staff was outstanding, restaurants were great, facility was spotless. One area that should be addressed is the acai bowl from Barefoot (healthy eating options by the pool). Acai was watery, like syrup. The server actually poured it into the bowl. In their defense, maybe that's how acai bowls are made in Mexico? Also, we were asked at check in if we were celebrating a special occasion, (my Goddaughter's graduation) and was told they would have a surprise for her, which never happened. Rincon Mexicano was closed during our stay, disappointed we didn't get to enjoy their food. Special thanks to Lennie at Spice Buffet who always took care of us! Look forward to returning soon!"

"I would highly recommend staying here it is so central to everything. Fifth Avenue and central where all the entertainment is and you're a very short walk to the beach. Also a very short walk away from some delicious very cheap food, where the locals eat. Franco was absolutely amazing. Helping me to catch a collectivo for the first time even writing down instructions for the driver to let him know that I wanted to go to Cenote Azul. Excellent service. Very quiet at night but very close to absolutely everything that you need. Highly recommended."
