Luxury Hotels in Palm Springs, California

"Love this hotel! Great tiki vibe. It was super dog friendly, the pool and spa were awesome. The property and room were very clean. We loved the bar and the attached Mexican restaurant was also very good. Only issue was check in. The front desk person initaliy refused to check us in because hotel.com somehow had reservation under my birth last name rather than my married name. clearly my first and middle name were a match as well as I had the confirmation codes and emails. She said nope sorry can’t check you in and told me to call hotels.com who of course had no one to help me. Just a message “we are unavailable. She offered zero solutions and initially refused to call the manager . So we drove 3 hours only to be treated like we were trying to get something over on the hotel? I’ve booked with hotels,com multiple times and apparently under my birth ladt name and I’ve had zero issues with other hotels. Finally she called her manager (I literally had to demand I mean where were we susposed to sleep after we prepaid for the room and were traveling with our dogs. The manager had her check us in. I mean I get it the name thing but she was initially condescending and refused to help with zero empathy. But hotel was great ! I will not book with hotel.com in the future. It should be noted that my legal name was ,clearly in my hotel.com profile so I have no idea how my birth name was added to the reservation. "

"Location was perfect. Hotel was very nice and well kept. We were notified of the renovations happening, but it did. It have any affect on our stay. The shower temp and pressure were not the best and the best was not as comfortable but we still slept well. "

"You can feel the vibe is back after Sonder was no longer part of the V. Love that the pool bar is open once again and the customer service which was absent under the Sonder is once again being provided to its customers. I was definitely not a fan of the way the V was ran under the Sonder regime. "

"The property is actually very decent. The room was clean. Water pressure was little weak but it was fine, hot water is still hot enough. I am surprised they still provide body lotion as other motels don’t anymore. Love the fact that they have a microwave! They have two swimming pools, I thought one of them was a jacuzzi but it wasn’t. Given the price is inexpensive, I will definitely come back!"
