"Lovely hotel, some rooms are excellent and exceeded expectations, spa facilities, main hall, library, bar and restaurant are beautifully renovated, and we were allocated room no.17, sympathetically decorated in keeping with the character of the Hall, the bathroom was very modern and clean. Spa was great, pool sauna, steam room very nice too. We had an issue with the TV and staff did all they could to fix the problem, even brought in another TV and we could use apps more easily. "Staff were very friendly and helpful. Spa was lovely. The only downside was that there was a boxing match being held on the second night of our stay. Unfortunately the bar was closed and the room we were in was quite noisy as a lot of people seemed to be walking past it and banging doors"

"This was our second time here and they have dog friendly rooms. The lady at the front desk was friendly and upgraded us to a bigger room which was so much better than the one we had booked. It was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We dinner at Inn restaurant which had a lot of choice. Service again was good. They have new EV chargers which we made use of. "

"The Celtic Royal staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is just a short walk to plenty of restaurants and pubs, and the castle itself. The property also had a nice pool and gym on site. "
