"This is a very reasonable and nice place to stay for the price. Upon arrival, I was confused about which property I would be staying in, but after opening the doors and reading the signs posted inside, it’s very straightforward. The woman next to me did not have a code for her room and struggled to reach anyone at ~9pm, so, if you’re reading this, make sure you have your code ahead of time. The rooms are small and quaint. The only two complaints I had were that the bed was extremely...

"Very nice room, with everything working. The food was excellent - quality ingredients and beautifully presented on the plates. Speaking personally I would have liked a few more of those lovely vegetables to accompany the very tasty belly pork main course! Plenty of parking - very close to the accommodation. Very helpful and friendly reception staff. We will be back!"

"The property was not only located in the most convenient location imaginable (I was working in the castle, which is literally just across the road!), but the hotel is very nice in itself. The room I was in was small, but not in a bad way. I had space for everything I needed, the phone signal and WiFi were strong, the bed was comfortable, there were even complimentary biscuits! "Please be aware this is self service and if pub is not open this was challenging. My e-mail/text arrived after I had completed my stay. Contact was difficult and the Indian takeaway opposite was a great help to gain access. This was a shame as the room was excellent. Internet and TV didn't work but that was the storm weekend. So, possibly a reason. Poor phone signal throughout Llangollen anyway."

Excellent Stay

"I booked for my husbands birthday, the hotel is fab and beautifully decorated for Christmas, they upgraded our room and it was huge! The bed really comfortable and plenty of cupboard space with iron if needed. Our room was located down the end so it was very quiet. I checked in on the app so they just gave us our key when we arrived. I did originally book as i wanted a hotel that included parking, but after the booking i had a message to say carpark is £25 on the day if available. There was availability but we parked in NCP which is 5 mins walk and only £12 with the app."
