Things to do in North Wales

Mount Snowdon lies at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, an area of unspoiled natural beauty in Central Wales. At 3,560 feet, it is the tallest mountain in Wales and the tallest in the UK outside the Scottish Highlands. Llandudno Pier is an impressive structure that dominates the coastline of Llandudno, a picturesque town in North Wales. The largest pier in Wales, stretching 2,296 feet into the Irish Sea, is one of the finest, and best preserved, examples of a Victorian pier you will find anywhere in the UK.

Caernarfon Castle, located at the mouth of the River Seiont on the North Wales coast, is perhaps the most architecturally impressive and imposing of all the castles in Wales.

The wide red boardwalk separates the road from the beach in this scenic zone, where pantomime puppets and paddling pools take prominent positions.

Founded in 1884 and set in the heart of beautiful North Wales, Bangor University has been undergoing huge investment, which has helped make it a highly desirable place to study.
