The location is incredibly convenient—right in the heart of Monterey, walking distance to everything I wanted to explore. Parking was a breeze, and I used the valet service throughout my stay. It was quick, prompt, and made things so much easier. The hotel itself is extremely clean and well-maintained. My room was spotless, quiet, and the bed was super comfortable—I slept so well each night. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, keeping everything fresh and tidy without ever being intrusive. "I think the property is at a convenient location close to the freeway, there is good customer service, room service is available on demand, and there is convenient parking. I love the no smoking, no pets policy, which kept rooms free of disturbing odors. The neighborhood feels safe and quiet; no junky people lodging on the property. Not the newest amenities but decently maintained; fair for the price, the pool is cool, there is some noise from aircraft landing but not crazy. Kids love it, will visit again"

"I liked everything about this property. There was great food options near by and walkable distance. The rooms were suuuper cool and comfy. There was a pool and tub, my son loved that! It was quiet and we had our privacy for sure. Definitely recommend this place. There wasn’t complementary breakfast, however, the price was low and reasonable. "

The staff at the front desk and restaurant were wonderful and they made us all very comfortable and happy to stay at the Carmel Mission Inn. The food at Shearwater Tavern was excellent and I would highly recommend. My husband was so impressed with the service that he complimented me choice of hotel "

"“Old style” Hotel, right in the middle of town, so much to do and see. Great restaurants right next to the hotel, I chose to park across the street, in the public parking structure, easy in and out. The room was basic but clean, very small tv, clean sheets, bathroom was small but clean and nice. No complaints at all, it’s priced right, for what you get, in this area. "
