"Lovely location,Very peaceful"

"Fabulous! A truly relaxing home from home, with friendly and professional staff. We appreciated the quiet of our room ( we didn’t hear other guests), it's draftproofed sash window with view over the seashore, along with a comfortable bed and sufficient space in the room to be at ease. We really enjoyed the warm, cosy and relaxed atmosphere downstairs , the character of the place and tasteful interiors, and last, but not least, the delightful christmas tree in the dining area! And both breakfast...

"This was a very cheap stay in a great destination. The hotel was excellent value for money and we had a fabulous view. It was very quiet so had a good sleep. However, it is tired in places and would benefit from a makeover. Wouldn't take a lot of work but would be beneficial in my view. Just needs more attention to detail. Staff very friendly and helpful. "

"New management has made many upgrades to the property. This was the first time I visited, so I didn't miss the old quirks; I found the place delightful. The Snug is a lovely lounge with wood-burning fire that was great for a cold night. I'm sure the outside tables would be lovely in warm weather. The location right next to the footbridge is charming. I stayed in room 2; the bathroom was a bit small and awkward, but I understand they have to work with the structure that's there."

"We were lucky enough to get a last minute booking here due to a change in our plans. Our hosts was superb, the location is great (on the seafront) and we were fortunate enough to take advantage of the free parking right outside. Lovely breakfast which we burnt of on a 20mile cycle ride to Dolgellau on the traffic free Mawwdach trail!"
