"This hotel offered breathtaking views of the lake. My husband and I opted for a room with a private open air bath which was amazing. Note though that the bath only fits one person at a time, and there is no view of the lake which was disappointing. Instead we faced a weird parking lot. "The Fujiya is an impressive and beautiful historic hotel. We stayed with our 5 month old baby in the Forest wing. The room itself was spacious and the decor in keeping with the Classical design of the hotel. I particularly enjoyed the onsen and the western breakfast (best breakfast of our trip).
