"This is a traditional ryoken located in a tucked away area. We took a taxi to get there because it was raining but were able to leave by bus. The private onsen was lovely, big and beautifully built. We slept really well in the comfortable tatami room and futon bed."

"Staff is very responsive and attentive. Having an in room onsen is great so that we can take a dip in it any time we like. Although the property is a little out of the way, they can always take you to near by bus or train station upon request. Dinner and breakfast are served inside the room. You sit on the floor and the table is about 12-14" high. Sitting cross leg may be uncomfortable to those who are not used to it. Getting up from that sitting position may be difficult for some."

"The service was exceptional as were the dinners and breakfasts. The insensitive were are well equipped and relaxing after a day of exploring. The property is a short walk from the rope way. Our room had a balcony with a private onsen, which was absolutely worth the splurge. The view was beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfy the futons were when we slept. The location was convenient to the bus lines but still so peaceful and quiet. 10/10 stars, without hesitation. I would love to come back!"
