"We loved the customer service with Shenelle, she was very professional and helpful. We had an issue with the room they put us in, but we arrived late and settled in for the night, by morning Shenelle had us figured out and in the right accommodations, from that point on it was a wonderful stay. I would recommend calling the hotel directly for the reservation of your room, as we used Expedia and it was very misleading. We also had friends that experience the same thing in the past and thankfully the hotel was accommodating in correcting it immediately."

"This property is beautiful. Each room is a suite so it’s perfect for a family of 4, with lots of room. The balconies are huge with a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. The bathroom is large and modern with all the amenities you need. Each room has a small fridge and microwave, so it’s perfect to keep snacks cool. Also, there is a coffee maker, so each morning my husband and I would make coffee and sit out on the balcony. The staff is friendly and knowlegeable. Upon arrival we were upgraded to an ocean view room and that was such a treat. One mile away is the wailea tennis club where we played pickleball each morning. It is a bit pricey to rent a court but worth it. There are many dining option very nearby and even more if your willing to drive a bit. Everything about this hotel was great. We enjoyed ourselves. Tip: you must get to the pool by 7:30 and secure a spot or your out of luck til later on in the day (we stayed over Christmas so a busy time) We would love to stay at this hotel again on our next trip to Maui. They made our holiday so special. "

"Fabulous stay! We love the Marriott; attentive, professional staff, wonderful food and beautiful grounds. HOWEVER, this is NOT a particularly handicap friendly property; the room doors are quite heavy making it challenging to hold the door open while maneuvering a wheelchair. There is also a threshold at the base of the door that is difficult to cross over. There are few elevators making it difficult to get to the pool areas. At times the bell stand personnel and or maintenance workers were kind enough to assist me with golf cart access to the private adult pool. It’s just a bit of a challenge. Nevertheless a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend the resort with a cautionary note for those with disabilities."
