"We really liked that they are self-sufficient, they produce their own electricity using the waterfall in the picture. There we can grab bananas from trees, the dining terrace has a nice view of the waterfall and lush vegetation around. We missed (a little) an air conditioning system in the room and it is hard to get there without a rental car. All in all a very pleasant stay."

"This was our favorite place we stayed throughout our two week trip on the Big Island and Kauai. The staff was very helpful and the room we stayed in was super cozy. It was private and relaxing. I will definitely recommend this place to others and be going back to stay next time I’m on the Big Island!"

"Lovely restored home. Very nice owner and sweet (I believe Japanese) lady prepared and cooked our breakfast. Lots of snacks and refreshments. We were allowed to use an area in the fridge. No amenities in room but, everything we would want or need was just outside our door. Would love to stay again!"
