"This is the second time in three years that we’ve stayed here and it was as good if not better than the first time. We stayed here for 9 days and the place is very clean, air conditioning works great, the place is centrally located and the subway stations are just down the street. It’s a safe place, the staff was welcoming and we will be returning hopefully next year when we again visit New York as we like to do very year . "

"The hotel was perfect for our week long stay. It was well within walking distance to all the sights we had planned in visiting. The staff were exemplary (particularly barman Sam who was welcoming, friendly and informative about getting around New York). The only downside was the taxi seevixe that we purchaed through Expedia as part of the overall package. Upon leaving the hotel to retun to JFK, tje concierge advised us that the taxi that was waiting for us was both illegal and unlicensed (and wasnt showing the correct plates in its windows). Time constraints in getting back to JFK in rush hour meant ordering another taxi may have caused us delays, so we reluctantly used the taxi we had already booked. Whilst Expedia have given a refund for the taxi booking part of the trip, their overall dealing with this (including trying to phone me at just after midnight to discuss) along with more emails that I can count that went unanswered, has made me decided not to use Expedia in the future. Please be aware of this if you decide to purchase kerbside pick up in your package. Westgate Hotel (and the Delta flights to and from JFK) were all brilliant and we'd defiantly use both these again in the future (just not booking through Expedia)"
