We're not sure why this hotel has a low star rating, but we found it to be a clean and charming boutique hotel. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Bilbao's old town, making it easy to explore the city's historic streets and landmarks. The hotel's staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and stylishly decorated. We would definitely recommend the Goyen Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for a unique and convenient place to stay in Bilbao. Don't let the low star rating put you off – this hotel is a hidden gem!"

"Extremly convenient for staying close to Universal. It was roughly a 6 min walk to the gates, or to City Walk - endless food options. There are literally 3 Lawson locations in City Walk, and another un the neighbouring hotel, and yet another about 500m away. Two 7 Elevens nearby as well. There is a small fridge in the room. We used the laundry room on the 2nd floor - a bit expensive and the dryer wasn't the greatest, even after doing double the time. Staff were wonderful. Highly recommend."

Amazing breakfast buffet, can try the onsen experience in the mineral pools in the spa. Close to a metro line, so although the hotel is not centrally located, one can get to other Tokyo neighborhoods easily "
