Downtown Los Angeles hotel rooms a the Marriott Hotels & Resorts

"The property itself is fine. Had a beautiful room on the top floor, overlooking the city. Very quiet and romantic. Almost fell in the shower (wish it had some floor grip). If you want internet - that's extra. $60 for valet. Went down to the lobby for cocktails. 4 cocktails and 1 slice of cake cost me $140 (including tip). Being mindful, there's a "staff service charge" of $20. Just to walk from behind the bar to serve drinks... I'll stay here again, but I'll be more mindful next time."

"This was my first time staying at the hotel, and overall it was wonderful. The front desk had a hiccup at the time of check in (computer systems were offline and they could not complete check-ins). However, they offered me a GC for food/drinks, and 30 minutes later the proceeded to manually get me checked in so I could go to my room. I would absolutely stay here again! "

"I loved CitizenM. It was clean, hipster-y (in a good way, has a decent bar, and definitely has a European flair. Which I love. The rooms are very small though. It was perfect for me as a single traveler, but might feel a touch snug for a couple. "
