"We loved our stay at the Mandarava. We had a free room upgrade on arrival- Coral grand deluxe room which was beautiful looking out onto the coconut pool. The resort its self was beautiful, very clean, several pools so they were never too busy. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and was very tasty- the drinks were very good! "We actually got transferred to the other Sala Choengmon due to construction noise. The whole experience was by far the best of the entire trip through Thailand. "It was a property where we could truly experience the renowned reputation of Banyan Tree, and the accommodation we stayed in satisfied every member of our family. The friendly service of the staff left a lasting impression. One thing to note is that I had read in several blog reviews that, when choosing a dinner course at the Saffron restaurant, there would be options for appetizers or desserts. However, on the day of our visit, only a fixed menu was served. I wasn’t aware that this had changed....
