"I loved the serenity of the cloud forest and views. I really wanted a way to open a screened window for a cool, natural breeze and to listen to bird song, while still being able to lock the doors. It was quieter than expected given the proximity of the road (very few cars travel it), but also a little less private that I desired with the other guests walking by. The staff were extremely helpful and engaging - a really nice part of the experience. "

The accommodations are excellent (including heating in the rooms & hot showers!), with the mountain-view villas being especially good for birders. "Tami lodge is located in a beautiful place far from civilization. We stayed in a glamping tent style that has a lovely shower and two comfortable beds. It was slightly cool at night which I loved because it made it easy to sleep. We needed to cancel the second night because we rescheduled our flight and we got our money back, no questions asked. I highly recommend this place. "
