"We enjoyed our week in the ocean view tower room. Staff was so friendly and helpful. We loved the easy access to the beach where we could snorkel and whale watch. In the evenings we really liked the live music at the branches. I would definitely stay again. Safe, friendly and affordable with lots of amenities. "

"Check in was very quick. We arrived early and our room was ready! We were in the NEW tower and it was lovely, clean and the beds/pillows were top notch. Loved the free washer and dryer (and detergent) available to use- so convenient and not expected! loved the bikes to borrow free of charge. We also liked the filtered water stations to fill up our bottles on the way out to the beach or the next adventure. The beach is right across the street and we loved the easy 3 minute walk to the sand. Food options are also very close. The computers were down at check out time so we were unable to check out from our room and that held us up a bit since everyone else was also in the lobby to check out due to the same issue, but smiling, helpful, apologetic staff always makes this sort of thing better and it didn't take too long to be on our way. The staff was always smiling and friendly, even the pool towel person was pleasant. At first we thought the daily "resort" fee was a bit steep, but realizing it included parking (which was very close by), laundry facilities, bikes, a shuttle (3 miles in each direction), nightly live music by the pool, pickleball courts, and the pool- it actually didn't seem so bad after all. I also felt very safe. You need to use your wristband to access the lobby and then again to use the elevator to go to your floor. Thanks Maui Coast, we would love to come back again! "

"Staff very nice. Clean rooms. Nice linens. Tasty food options throughout the day. Lovely music in the evenings. Great snorkeling a short walk away. Site adjacent to public beach. Pretty pricey at $1K /night (without breakfast). Unfortunately none-resort residents walk the resort, use the resort's bathroom & outdoor shower facilities and pool. Ironically on my last day, one of the staff asked me for my room number when I asked for a towel by the pool- not their practice to ask, it was his way of testing if I was actually staying at the resort, even though I was wearing the Sheridan wrist band. At check-in only orientation given was a pamphlet and was actually 'pointed' in the direction of elevator (not even told it was in the next building). Did give us a nice room. Only upon checkout did I learn a map was available and offered to guests at check-in. Only by chance learned there was a shopping village and host of restaurants a short walk away. Would have been nice to receive a 3 min orientation up front. Had a great view from the balcony; however, the hum of motors/HVAC from across the site was louder than the birds and ocean waves. Pool was nice. Pool walls in visual disrepair in some spots as are some of the pool side cabanas. Nice landscaping. Lovely koi and koi pond. Great place to whale watch. Flight left late at night so after check-out stored luggage with parking attendant (don't know actual position name)- the persons there were SOOOOO very nice!"
