"Lovely setting - nice touch having flowers on the bed and turn down service. The units all look inwards to the pool which was used regularly by us. At night the pool has lights and makes for a romantic swim. There was no jug to make tea or coffee or facilities to cook yet there was a fry pan, pots and dishes. Even microwave would have been useful. The restaurant wan't operational - we would have used it. Breakfast was delivered to the room daily and was good."

"What an amazing stay at BSL. Wonderful beach front property with small villas. Blown away by the delicious food and attentive staff. Everyone was super nice and an extra shoutout to Joel the manager and Fred the receptionist. Fred greeted us warmly and was so kind to share tips for our stay in Kilifi, really appreciated and thanks Fred. Thank you everyone for a wonderful stay!!!!!!!"

"Good location for Mombasa Train Station - 500 KES for a taxi - arranged by the hotel. The staff were very friendly and room was clean but basic, however breakfast is included so a good price. You are able to eat in the hotel, basic but very inexpensive menu. It is very near to a Mosque and prayer starts at 0500 hrs, ok if you need to catch the train as an early start is needed. Would not really recommend go out and about."
