"Getting to the property was tough, very tough but so worth it. I was lucky enough to go outside of the wet season but it was still hard. The facility itself is beautiful and the food is delicious. The staff is beyond kind and helpful. The shower though, it hardly worked and water went everywhere. "The property (houses on Easter Side) has big issue with the three-phase power input. Finally, we spent our night without electricity (two basic lamps were provided instead for the room and bathroom). The electric generator was not reliable - lights were blinking all the time. I didn`t want to charge my electric equipment when the generator was used (didn`t want risk damaging items). The breakfast was rather basic. The rest of the experience was OK. "They catered to the Chinese people. The lodge was ok. The rooms were ok. Not well maintained. Turned electric off most of the time. Location was fabulous. I have been to Kenya many times and this is the nicest location I've encountered. It is on the Mara river. Many hippos monkeys baboons and crocks. It is a one hour drive to Masai Mara but the conservative was nice for safari. The safari vehicles are not very well maintained and we broke down or had a flat tire every day. It is a good value as...
