"This is an older hotel, but the location is perfect. So easy to get around Monterey and enjoy the area. My only gripe was that the lighting was inconvenient. One light on ceiling that was super bright and two wall sconces that were no where near the bed. I would stay here again though."

"Everything was good for my family. The room was clean. One thing that my kids really like is free wifi. Only one thing we wasn’t satisfied was a noises. We could hear the other room bathroom’s noise. It was pretty bad. Overall it was a great staying at there. "

"Wonderful staff and amenities. As others have stated, the property is dated and some of the building you can hear traffic from. Our bathroom was small for a family of 4 (no tub or counter space) and the vent could use a cleaning. Otherwise the room itself was pretty standard, but comfortable and clean. The restaurant was fantastic, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. And the games, pools, and fire pits were enjoyed by us all. The golf course looks beautiful and the gym/spa was very nice. And an...

"5 stars all around. Clean room and comfortable beds. Staff were all very helpful & friendly. Doorman opens the door for you coming in and going out. We walked Solvang from the property. Complimentary wine tasting included for participating wineries. Better than what we had expected. "

"The hotel has gone under construction and looks and feels great. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The only delay we had was upon checking in, we arrived early and checked in 10mins before our scheduled check in and our room wasn’t ready until 40mins after. The view was definitely worth the wait and the private ocean view was amazing!"
