"staff was very friendly and professional.... provided valuable information...(dinning, shopping sightseeing) about local area... will definitely visit again and recommend to others"
"Perfect location, quaint and cozy motel, great staff, great cost, and easy parking. We didn’t bring our dogs but dogs are welcome and there were SO many in this cute little town. We’ll bring them next time. "
"This was my first time staying here and everything was amazing. Checking in was seamless and the gentleman who helped me was friendly and warm. The breakfast both days we stayed was delicious and delivered promptly to our beautiful, comfortable and clean room. But my favorite part was probably the homemade cookies hanging on my door in the afternoon. I want to go back just for those cookies. I can’t wait to stay here again. It is a very special place. "

I love the friendliness of the people we met at the retail places and the quietness of the town. Everything pretty much in walking distance made it great for me, who likes to walk.

We were initially looking in Morro Bay. But that would have required driving the kids to a beach. In Cayucos the beach is a short safe walk.

It is not overcrowded and all areas of the beach were dog friendly. Other towns nearby had restrictions for dogs.

Too many multimillion dollar uninhabited homes have ruined the charm this town used to have.
"Everything excellent, with exception of the lawn,
grass is dead, really would’ve been a great to see it green like the profile pictures.
Dogs barking early in the morning, guest’s issues not hotel."
"This older but refurbished hotel was perfect for the price point. We were lucky about receiving a corner room with two big windows that made the room feel so open during the day. I was worried about noise (being on the corner of two streets) but it was so quiet. The only thing I heard all night was a sea gull flying overhead squaking once. The bed was also comfortable for both me and my husband which is rare (I like firm and he likes softer). Somehow it worked for us both. Anyway, we will try to return in the future."
