The rooms were neat because they are all different but they all looked outdated. The bar soap you get smells nice. It’s pretty looking at the outside of the inn. The inside is over the top design. Breakfast at the cafe was tasty and filling. The cake slices are huge and expensive. One slice could be shared by 3 or 4 people. The toffee cake was delicious. I stayed there once but probably wouldn’t stay again. A little too pricey for me.

Property is a unique gem offering a wide variety of experiences. Hourly staff seemed to be engaged and desirous of being helpful. However, all of the management encountered were the opposite and indifferent if not rude. After having spent a significant portion of money for a three days day one would have imagined that in departing the desk attendant/manager would have at least asked if this stay was enjoyable and thanked me for our patronage; honestly, based off of my experience with that one person and a the rude morning restaurant manager/host I probably won’t choose to return.

i love the madonna inn. it's an opulent time warp to the excess of the 1980's. i stayed in a room with a round bed, fulfilling my childhood dream of going to the poconos mount airy lodge. this is much nicer. the hotel is spotless. there are horses in the pasture & the restaurants offer large portions.

It's truly vintage. The TV screen in rooms is tiny, no microwave, super tiny fridge. The beds are comfortable, but the furniture is very old. Stay here definitely for the experience. It is overpriced though- everything at the Madonna Inn. Don't think I'd stay here again. We only stayed for a wedding event. Also, if you book through Expedia, you will have to pay the tourist fee during registration. They don't tell you until you are there and of course they'd keep your money if you cancel last minute.
