"Lovely room in a good location, welcoming staff and overall very comfortable. Only negative was it was a little lacking in the tea, coffee and milk, not enough milk for two people to have a beverage with milk. "

"This was my first time at the Hotel Du Vin. It’s usually out of my price range but this time it was inexpensive. Overall, it was a comfortable stay. This is an old-fashioned English hotel where the floors feel uneven and every room is different and quirky. The room and bathroom were very large. Water got very hot. The decor is old which doesn’t matter so much to me but they really need a clock in the room and some usb ports. The toilet doesn’t flush well, which was somewhat annoying. I missed...

"Great hotel for work travelling. Far away from the city if you’re a tourist (no easy links to city) but a great bolt hole if you’re on business! "

"This was basic accommodations with friendly service. The property is dated rough around the edges, but was very competitively priced. It was a pleasant walk to downtown. We would probably stay again but can’t give it high marks aside from value and location. "

Free parking at the Lodge, spacious room with private facilities. Use of Dining room with fridge, microwave and crockery. Friendly staff who are happy to assist with any queries."
