"I have to say, our stay at a&o was 11 out of 10! From location, to staff, from room to coffee/bar from seating areas to views and a short (under 5 minutes) walk to the historic Brighton Palace Pier! "Great place, convenient location, great view, but it was a bit smelly - have had to wash all my clothes to get rid of the smell. Like some kind of spice???"

"Staff were friendly. Room was clean, shower was great. And as a lone female traveller i felt safe and secure. Bed was comfy and had mini fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. There was also fines in place for noisy unruly behaviour and smoking in the rooms which was good to see. I would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed there for 2 nights. Room was clean and bigger than I expected. Bath room was clean but needed deep clean. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is fine. Check in from 3pm and check out by noon was convenient for us. We left our luggage there after checking out with small fee. Station, cafes and convenient store were near by. It was lovely stay. we will stay there again. "

"Extremely poor service, we checked in to the B&B with friends to be then handed our keys and told to find our own rooms as she needed to deal with an inpatient guest. Not sure where they got the photos for the hotel but they certainly weren’t of the rooms we stayed in, window had no lock despite being on first floor bathroom door didn’t close properly they forgot the breakfast on the last day which was not worth £10.
