"We stayed for a Graduation which was opposite hotel so very convenient. Chargeable car park at rear of hotel was handy. Great fresh cooked to order breakfast. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in evenings but did have a drink in the bar that was nice stylish decorated. Good choice hotel that’s a short walk into town (although a hill to walk up on way back). Nice rooms . Would stay again infact it’s our second stay here."

"A lovely, well situated hotel with very friendly staff with a well stocked bar at a reasonable price. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty of it. We had an issue with a wall heater not working and within 5 minutes of phoning reception a replacement heater was sent up. We were there for a Friday & Saturday night so there was live music followed by a DJ both nights. "The reception was ok. Cleanliness ok Bed comfort Zero Bathroom Area Zero General atmosphere Zero. Only food available a Breakfast box by the door. Left after one night and had to pay to stay in another hotel Hotel near by provide good service and Evening meal plus cooked breakfast at just a small amount more than the Westcliffe. Cost me an additional £500. Covid Excuse does not apply as I have stayed in 4 hotels in Devon and Cornwall all providing good service and Food. Only worth £40 per...

"A very warm welcome and a lovely room. Bed was comfy and the hotel was quiet for a good night's sleep. A short walk to the beach and pier, and also not too far to the town centre. My only negative was the bathroom is tiny. I would definitely consider staying here again."
