The stunning beaches and fantastic nightlife are just a few highlights of Bournemouth City Centre. Make a stop by Bournemouth Beach or Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum while you're exploring the area.
Lesser known things such as the Purbecks especially Studland Nature reserve, Branksome Park woods, the walks above cliffs (pretty, remote, nature-y such as East Cliff, West Cliff Promenade, West Cliff zig zag, behindBranksome Dene Chine & Alum Chine

Excellently patrolled beach front right from Bournemouth pier through to Boscombe Pier and beyond. Great idea to have the free to use electric BBQ areas on the beach front area. Cleaned every morning. Cliffside chain Railway excellent. Well done!

Just out of consideration of the less able, it's probably worth mentioning that this area in general is quite hilly and as a result may prove difficult for some. In the summer it does get busy, but the beach is like being abroad. Great trip.

Lots of nice gardens etc but also lots of empty shops giving a slightly run down appearance to some areas. No litter to speak of and nice along the beach. Plenty of choice for eating/drinking. Would love to see more investment in Bournemouth

Beach was pretty clean and not too busy. Nice green areas in town, and the bus service was reliable for day trips. The beach-side shops and eateries are extortionate, though. Pack a picnic for the beach and go into the centre for dinner.

I recommend bringing a load of comfy shoes as it's mainly got hills and bring extra money as can be expensive also if you want to go on a night out at most of the clubs you have to book tickets in advance if you want to enter

Bournemouth is a beautiful place, with many excellent restaurants in the high street. Good place to stay one or two nights to try out the best Hong Kong Food in the UK and Pinocchio Restaurant nearby. Yummy experience.

I LOVE Bournemouth, especially the beach! No matter the weather, I will happily sit on a deck chair, on the beach, with an ice cream, a cuppa, fish & chips, whatever the weather makes me fancy!

Went to the Oceanarium, this is lovely. Also went to the park to see the aviary and the jewel was the museum next to the bath hotel. What a surprise! Beautiful!

"My friend and I went from Monday -Friday. On arriving the staff were lovely however got to the room and it was dark. My friend and I said if they had arranged the bedroom differently it wouldn’t have felt so dark. The heater in the bathroom was so dangerous. Also the whole hotel needed some TLC.
But the staff made up for the rest of it every member of staff was lovely. "
"We’ve stayed here numerous times, it’s our go to place to stay in Bournemouth. Value for money. The rooms are basic but clean and with free parking. It’s a leisurely 20 minute stroll to the main shopping centre/beach/gardens.
We finally got to use the pool on this visit! Was lovely to check out but still use the pool before we actually left. Thank you! "
