"Property was meet all expectations! Absolutely an amazing experience overall. Bartenders at the resort, not so much..customer service definitely needs improvement. Bartenders are instrumental in kicking off the vibe for the nigh however, the interaction we had seemed more like we were a bother. "

"I felt like I stepped back in time when walking into our room. Floor to ceiling real wood burning fire place, which is operational, vaulted ceilings, exposed beams in the ceiling, paneling on the walls. Large spacious room. They even sell firewood to use in the fireplace. In room coffee maker. Balcony overlooking the roaring fork creek. Comfy king size bed. Nice pillows. Overall clean but could use a thorough dusting. Would stay again! "

"Our first night we stayed in a poolside room at the request of our 3 and 8 year old boys. We stayed on the 2nd floor and you can hear the noise from the pool in the rooms, which was not a problem for us. We did upgrade our room to a balcony room on the 3rd floor when the boys had a change of heart and wanted to try to see bear from the balcony. We had a street view but the mountains in the background were so pretty. Our boys loved the pool and it was pretty warm compared to any other indoor pools. During our stay, there was a lady serving hot chocolate in the lobby and we had to stop daily! The lobby was also beautifully decorated. We had no complaints with our stay. The property is in walking distance of downtown but the trolley stop right in front of the hotel was very nice!"
