"Don‘t book. It‘s not a hotel. If it exists at all, it’s a private accomodation in a private residential. We went there for check-in exactly at the right time given from the hotel and couldn‘t find it under the address. No sign, no bell, nobody picked up the phone for 30 min. We called Expedia. They couldn‘t reach the reception neither. Telephone number was in a different area code. Google showed another address under the name and it was the same problem. The neighborhood didn‘t look save. Fun Stay in the Theater District

"We traveled to NYC for the purpose of seeing a couple of Broadway shows and chose the Hotel Edison because of its location in the heart of the Theater District. We stayed in a Signature room with 2 queen beds, which provided the space we needed. The room was clean, and the towels were wonderfully fluffy. We loved the adjacent restaurant, Friedmans, and used the hotel breakfast vouchers that gave a choice of 4 breakfast options for $6.50. We ate pre-show dinner there twice, and enjoyed the singing waiters. We felt safe and secure. It was a fun stay."
