"The Pavilion Hotel is my favorite place to stay on Catalina Island. It is right on the main boardwalk, overlooking the water, with easy access to all shops and restaurants. The grounds are beautiful with lounge chairs around a beautiful garden, a fire pit and tables with chairs to sit and relax. They have a daily happy hour which includes a complimentary glass of wine with cheese and crackers. The staff are all very nice and helpful. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Avalon. "

"I loved the location of this hotel. There’s a grocery store just down the road (3 min walk), restaurants, shopping and beach within 5 minutes. Our room was so nice and was shared with the room next door but we lucked out not having anyone there. Gabby was the front desk clerk and was amazing. "This is an older property there is no house keeping or room service. The room was kind of odd very small. Catalina is a small island so everything is in walking distance. The microwave was broken. And there’s only one. The staff was very hospitable and I wanna say it was the best part of the stay"
