"A very last minute booking due to train problems. Check in, about 10 minutes after booking, was quick and polite. A toothbrush was delivered to me within a few minutes. The room was huge, the bed incredibly comfortable, everything you could want."

"A good, basic place to stay near Manchester Piccadilly. The rooms are very reasonably priced and a highlight is the buffet (continental - no cooked offerings apart from boiled eggs) breakfast: there is plenty of choice. The only thing I found surprising - and I see other reviewers found the same - is that despite the hotel's "green" aspirations, cardboard mugs are provided for tea/coffee in the room and the "Philly" cheese at breakfast came in single-portions packed in plastic. Strange!"

"Staff was amazingly nice, and very helpful. Place was clean, hot water was steaming hot, and had great pressure. Everything worked as expected. The area is not accessible to Uber, so that was a pain, especially in the rain, but a short walk solved it. They also took one of my personal towels by accident, and it's gone forever, but I should have been more careful. I would definitely stay here again."
